Bangladesh celebrated World Children's Day on the first Monday of October, as is customary, and has been observing the Children Rights Week 2023. The theme of this year's Children’s Day is “Let's invest for children, build the future world”. The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, in collaboration with various government ministries, local government institutions, international and domestic organizations, planned the celebrations. Notable collaborators include Unicef, Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum (BSAF), National Girl Child Advocacy Forum (NGCAF), Synergos Bangladesh, SOS Children's Village Bangladesh, Save the Children Bangladesh, and Aparajeyo-Bangladesh, among others. The week-long celebration, which began on October 2, is set to wrap up on Sunday.
